If the hatch is closed on something it jams and won t open. I dealt with the problem by installing a remote starter so it could warm up before i went to unlock the door. I own a nissan rogue 2009. Nissan north america is recalling 108 503 2014 16 nissan rogue suvs because of a rear liftgate problem. A bit ridiculous nissan would allow this to occur.
